mama don't let me play with Freedom
Freedom sits by a tree n
read book all day n
never goes to dance.
Freedom shows me her lizard pet n
give me spicy cinnamon candy.
Freedom dresses in dark colors n
dyes hair red n
Freedom cries
when she can't write no poem
Freedom don't go to class
when the bell sounds
Freedom screams inside hallways n
does finger paintin on the walls
Freedom take showers in the dark n
run naked on beach n
likes to walk in the rain
with no umbrella
Freedom so wild,
Freedom so crazy,
I don't know why mama
don't want Freedom n me be friends.
