On Gaza and the Israeli war

It’s not that I haven’t been moved by the massacre being committed against Palestinian civilians, many of them children; I haven’t commented on this terrible war because it makes me sad and fell little. I do think that Hamas has chosen the wrong path in sending rockets into Israel, even into the illegal settlements. The crimes of both groups do not compare, however, they are not symmetrical. 4 Israelis have died compared to 400 Palestinians. This pattern has been going on since the State of Israel came into existence. The killing of civilians, even those who are involved in crimes against another people (through settlement and political support of cruel governments) is never justified. I think that it will be easier for Palestinians to choose a peaceful path if the US was not so bias against Israel. Sadly, Obama seems to share the same politics on Israel as Bush has.
